Airfield container trailer

Container trailers are designed for transportation of aviation containers between the logistics complex and the aircraft during loading and unloading. Every year airlines and airports revise the requirements for the norms of the carriage of cargo and baggage. The main task of the measures taken is to improve the quality of services provided to customers. An ordinary client does not want to think about how the preparation for delivery will take place, quality and speed are important to him, since it is for this reason that he entrusted the transportation to Aviation, and not to mail. The ROSSTT company has developed a trailer for the transportation of aviation containers. When developing container trailers, we took into account the experience of European manufacturers in terms of quality and practicality. Thanks to technical cooperation with Pulkovo Airport, design changes were made to increase the service life of the bogies and facilitate their operation.

Despite the seeming simplicity of the product, it took us 2160 hours for testing and engineering improvement of container trailers. To increase corrosion resistance in production, in agreement with the customer, we use three types of raw materials:

    • galvanized metal;
    • stainless steel;
    • HARDOX steel with RAPTOR coating.
You yourself determine the material and color of the product when ordering.

The chassis of the trailers are manufactured with the support of the world leader in the industry, Blickle. In view of the fact that the daily mileage of a luggage trailer at a major airport is 87.9 km of the chassis, special attention was paid to the braking system and the hitch. The advanced braking and steering systems have one fixed and one steering axle as standard, and a rigid brake system. Optionally, the trailer can be equipped with fully pivoting axles and a cable brake system. For regions with low operating temperatures, we install our own airless bandage wheels. We want the quality and speed of cargo handling to grow steadily thanks to the use of our equipment at Airports.
